I first met Sensei Katie Murphy at the 2015 Super Summer Seminars in Herkimer, NY. I met a lot of tremendous martial artists that weekend and made some good friends, that's for sure. There was something about Sensei Murphy that stuck with me, though.
Katie Murphy is the real deal; a kind person, an exceptional martial artist and a gifted teacher. I took away a lot from my time in her seminar that weekend and I knew I had to reach out to her to be on the show. Fortunately, she agreed and we had a great time recording this episode. Sensei Murphy offers an inspiring martial arts tale that is full of candor and complexity.
